
Dumpster Rental Agreement: Terms and Conditions
- Customer Responsibility for Delivery Location
Customer agrees to provide adequate roads or driveways for delivery. Customers assume full responsibility for any damage to roads, driveways, lawns, sidewalks, or other surfaces caused by the vehicle or dumpster. Drivers will use their discretion when traversing lawns, unstable terrain, sidewalks, or driveways. - Customer Possession and Responsibility
Upon delivery, the dumpster is considered under the sole possession and control of the customer. The customer is responsible for maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the dumpster until it is picked up by Cans4Cancer. - Indemnification
Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Cans4Cancer, its officers, employees, and agents harmless against all claims, lawsuits, liabilities, and attorney fees arising from or related to the customer’s possession and use of the dumpster, including negligence or breaches of duty by Cans4Cancer. - Ownership of Dumpster
All dumpsters remain the property of Cans4Cancer. Customers have no ownership or interest in the dumpsters. - Overloading Prohibited
Do not overload the dumpster. Overloaded dumpsters will be billed at a rate of $95/ton. If overloading prevents the dumpster from being hauled, the excess materials will be removed at the customer’s expense. Drivers may refuse to haul overloaded dumpsters. Customers are responsible for any fines or penalties resulting from overloading. - Placement Responsibility
The customer must specify the placement of the dumpster and assumes responsibility for any property damage caused by or related to the placement. Cans4Cancer is not liable for such damages. - Damage to Dumpster
The customer is responsible for any damage or vandalism to the dumpster while in their possession, including burning, machinery damage, graffiti, or abuse. Dumpsters must be loaded manually; machinery or equipment use is prohibited. - Compliance with Laws
Customers must adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances regarding waste disposal. Customers agree to indemnify Cans4Cancer, its officers, employees, and agents against claims, lawsuits, and liabilities resulting from violations of these regulations. - Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, payment is due upon booking the delivery of the dumpster. - Prohibited Materials
Dumpsters loaded with hazardous materials, tires, dirt, bricks, asphalt, concrete, or heavy materials will incur additional costs for reloading or disposal. Customers are responsible for compliance with acceptable materials guidelines. - Accessibility Responsibility
Customers must ensure the dumpster is accessible at the time of pick-up. If a dumpster is inaccessible, a $150 return fee will be charged. - Unacceptable Materials and Additional Charges
Prohibited items include hazardous waste, biohazard waste, radioactive waste, dead animals, freon appliances, railroad ties, electronic waste, medical waste, liquid waste, burning or hot ashes, batteries, tires, tree trunks and/or paint. If these materials are found, a minimum $100 fee plus disposal costs will apply. Mattresses incur a $35 disposal charge per item. - Weight Limits and Charges
Weight limits by dumpster size:
- 15-yard: 1.5 ton
- 20-yard: 2 tons
- Exceeding weight limits will result in additional charges at $95 per ton, prorated.
- Delivery and Pick-Up Scheduling
Delivery and pick-up times are not guaranteed. Dumpsters are delivered between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Drivers will attempt to provide a courtesy call before arrival. - Rental Period and Extensions
Dumpster rentals include a 7-day period starting from the drop-off date. Additional days are $20 per day and must be pre-paid. To extend rental time, customers must notify Cans4Cancer via email at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. - Acceptance of Terms
Payment for services and use of the dumpster implies knowledge and acceptance of this agreement.
